iOS User Interface & User Experience Design

Designing the interface and user flow for the NBAD Mobile Banking iPhone app to be able to log in with just a fingerprint, personalize your homepage, find your nearest branch or ATM, get in touch with NBAD, process transactions, make transfers and payments, create new beneficiaries, settle your utility and credit card bills, order a new cheque book and many more.

CHALLENGE

National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) merged, establishing the largest bank in the UAE with $183 billion in assets. In combining the two existing brands, it was imperative to provide customers and users with a digital experience at the height of this new starting point. The challenge was to infuse a bit of UI/UX knowledge and expertise into the app, but keep it lighthearted, simple, and useful.

WHAT WE DID:

We designed the interface for the iPhone app from scratch. Shortly after iOS 7 came out, we began refining the app to embrace the new aesthetics and incorporate existing user feedback, extending NBAD’s strong user experience to this new OS as well.

RESULT:

NBAD Mobile Banking has quickly become a go-to service for users looking for a mobile solution to manage all their banking activities. The iPhone app has accumulated over 250 App Store reviews with a 5 star average rating.
