As part of an ongoing collaboration with Tesla Dubai, we developed the first typeface that the brand can call it’s own. It makes it’s official debut in their TSLA Convention, and will be ready on all Tesla devices from 2018.
The typeface developed in collaboration with Tesla’s UI team, is designed to be used in both product and marketing communications to express a uniquely Tesla aesthetic.
One of the first tasks was to redraw the ‘Tesla Logotype’ to make sure its curves and angles were perfect.
we’ve developed a font that combines the vibrant, innovative world of Tesla with the bold, futuristic world of the motors industry. Tesla Type or TT is the only visual asset that links every touch point of Tesla. It will bring brand recognition to a wide variety of digital and non-digital environments. It is simple but also bold.
Tesla Typeface made it’s first appearance during TSLA Middle East Convention event in Qatar.
Now, Tesla has a typographic system that can spread Tesla’s message all over the world across all kinds of media. This is a font that can communicate it’s brand with only a glance. And a typeface that will continue to grow with the speed and excitement of Tesla itself.
